Dear members,

It has been a great year so far and we want to thank many of you for our success this year.

Programs are busier than ever.  Campers, swimmers and preschoolers are just a few areas where we are seeing growth and increased numbers.  This means that we are impacting more families in our community than ever before.  Our members are an important part of our success, but our donors are our MVP’s.  We would not be able to do what we do, without our donors.  So thank you, thank you, and thank you.  Click HERE to see a list of last year’s donors to see who supported us in 2014.

Many of you ask how you can help the Y.  Here are a few ways that you can provide support.

Pledge a gift to our 2015 Y Strong Campaign.  These dollars go directly to our ability to provide assistance to youth, families, seniors and others with limited income.  Pledges need to be paid by end of year.

Consider Adoption.  Quarterly, we look at purchasing items that will improve our programs, help impact our participants as well as our ability to serve the community.  This fall we have two very special needs.  New basketball hoops for our preschool age children and a new outdoor sign for our YMCA.  Attached you will find a fact sheet on both.  Please consider a gift towards these projects.  You can be a “quarter” or “half” “adopter” if you prefer.

If you can help us, go to our “Donate Now” button to give online or contact Paul Weber at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or stop at our front desk.

Thanks for your support as we continue to impact our community through programs in youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Annual Support / Y STRONG

Change Your Community

At the Y, no child, family or adult is turned away for an inability to pay. We recognize that for communities to succeed, everyone must be given the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected and secure. Your gift in this area allows us to subsidize youth, families and individuals to participate.

The Annual Campaign unites volunteers, donors and participants as we build upon the strengths of each individual in our community. Won't you join our efforts to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities through your own gift?

We rely on the generosity of our community to ensure that every individual regardless of age, income or background, has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors.

Your support helps provide opportunities for children and families in our community who are most in need to participate in life changing opportunities.

Memorial Fund & Recognition Scholarship Fund

Many people have strong memories when it comes to their past experience with the Y.  What better way to recognize them by creating a new memory for an individual that may be life changing. Memorial funds can be made in the memory of a loved one who has passed.  Funds may also be made to recognise and honor a person who deserves such an honor.  Gifts can be directed into multiple areas and can be used in a particular areas that were significant to the individual being honored.  Gifts can be in a used as recognition in our programs, membership area or facility.

A few examples are listed below or can be created to assist in our day to day needs.

Chronic Disease Fund

This fund supports the challenges of Diabetes Prevention and Education as well as Chronic Heart Disease prevention.

Family Programing Fund

This Fund is for the purchase of equipment and the development and support of our on-going family programs.  Each month our Y’s offer programs to benefit families in the their emphasis to send quality time together.
