Studio/Circuit:

Body Shop

Lunchtime full body workout for an energy boost.

Cycle Circuit

Stationary bike intervals of high and low intensity.  Great for all levels of fitness.

Fitness Challenge

Inspired by martial arts, you can strike, punch, and kick your way to superior cardio fitness.

Fusion

Build muscle and increase stamina using circuit and intervals for non-stop intensity.

Group Cycle

Hills, skills, and drills gives you an easy to fast paced class that burns calories while having fun.

Jump Start

Begin your day with a cycle or boot camp class to get your energy going.

Moving with Motive

Low impact aerobics, strength training, and core work for active, older adults.

Pilates

Learn to use your core to support all movements as you achieve body symmetry and muscle strength.

Power Up

A 45 minute strength training class using tubes, bands, and dumbbells

Step Interval

Alternating 3 to 5 minutes of step with 3 to 5 minutes of resistance training.  A perfect combination.

Ultimate Abs/Back

Strengthen your back and tighten your stomach muscles through a series of standing and floor exercises.

Yoga

A balanced combination of yoga poses using breathing with a focus on the spine and on relaxation techniques (Beginner)

Yoga Flow

Move from one posture to another using the breath as you improve your flexibility, balance, and strength.

Zumba

A dynamic combo of salsa, hip hop, and calypso steps set to spicy Latin music. Click on the link for a quick look at the class.


Aquatics:

Adult Beginner Swim Lessons (18+)

Works on adjustment skills, front crawl with rotary breathing, elementary back stroke and treading water

Adult Intermediate Swim Lessons (18+)

Pre-requisite: Front crawl with rotary breathing (25yds), Elementary backstroke (25yds), Tread water (1 minute). New skills include many strokes, diving skills, turns, and many more advanced skills.

Aqua Zumba

A dynamic combo of salsa, hip hop and calypso steps set to spicy Latin music in the pool! Classes are Saturday from 1:15-2:15 pm.

Deep Water Running

Held in the deep water using specialized flotation device. MUST FEEL COMFORTABLE IN DEEP END!

Friday Finale

A variety of water exercises from all of the aquatic fitness classes

Leggins

Focused on increasing aerobic endurance and lower body fitness in deep water.

Lifeguard Lessons

Receive certification after taking part in this. Contact Julie Carney, Aquatics Director

Making Waves

An aerobic and muscle endurance class

Master Swim Team

Water resistance used to improve your muscle endurance

Water Arthritis

Arthritis Foundation class designed to improve joint flexibility. Taught by an A.A. certified instructor. A doctor's release is required

A fitness program designed to encourage healthy lifestyles and weight loss through competitions.

A family obesity program consisting of physical activity and health/nutrition sessions

Receive a complimentary orientation to the fitness equipment, a goal session, and fitness plan!

Lunch Crunch

Challenging fitness program emphasizing both strength training and cardio fitness. Get the most out of that hour lunch break!

A fitness program tailored to your individual needs with appropriate progressions.

Running Club

A group of runners at various levels who want to improve running, push each other to reach goals, and encourage new runners to find the joy of running

Running Strong

Strength Training especially for the runner! Designed to improve leg strength and power, develop bi-lateral muscular balance, condition the upper body & stabilize the core

Wellness Screenings

Watch for upcoming wellness screenings including cholesterol, bone density, etc.

YMCA Women on Weights (YWOW)

An intense strength & endurance training circuit class for women. Designed to improve body composition and increase muscle tone, endurance & strength
