Tammie Jacobs, Child Care Director

Tammie started working at the Springfield Family YMCA in 1998 and is currently the Child Care Director at Town & Country Early Childhood Center (2430 Van Buren Avenue). This licensed program is designed to give both toddlers (ages 18-36 months) and pre-schoolers (ages 3-5) experience in science, language arts, writing, dramatic play, art, blocks and music through play. Tammie, a graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in education, also serves as an adjunct instruction at Clark State Community College and is an advisory board member at Career Technical Center. During her free time, Tammie likes to spend time with family, read, walk outdoors and watch sports.
