Jim Sawin, Youth & Families Director

Jim began working at the Springfield Family YMCA in September of 2008. Upon graduating from Cedarville University in 2007 with a sport management degree, Jim worked as a sports writer in nearby Urbana, OH before joining the YMCA family. Some of his current job responsibilities include the supervision of youth programs/sports, family fun nights, summer camps, volunteers, seasonal program brochures and the website. Jim is also an assistant track and field coach at Cedarville University, specializing in the high jump. He is an avid sports fan as well, enjoying both competing and watching.
